The 2026 Honda CRF450RX is the high-performance weapon of choice for closed-course off-road racing in Acheson and the technical woods of Parkland County. While its sibling, the CRF450R, is built for the motocross track, the RX is specifically tuned for the grueling demands of cross-country and hare scramble racing. Following a significant generation overhaul in 2025, the 2026 model refines its "enduro-ready" DNA, providing riders in St. Albert and Sherwood Park with a chassis that offers both high-speed stability and the flex needed to absorb unpredictable trail obstacles.

Race-Winning Engine & Electronics

• 450cc Unicam® Engine: This compact, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine features a narrow valve angle that lowers the center of gravity and improves combustion efficiency. For 2026, the engine is tuned for a smooth, linear power delivery that helps maintain traction on the loose loam and slippery roots of Leduc County.

• Hydraulic Clutch: Standard on the RX, the Nissin hydraulic system provides a consistent lever feel that is 10% lighter than previous designs. It self-adjusts as the clutch heats up, ensuring precision during long, technical races in Parkland County.

• Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC): Features three levels of traction management (plus off). This system minimizes rear-wheel spin, allowing you to find drive on the slick, hard-pack trails around Acheson without sacrificing throttle feel.

• Engine Mode Select Button (EMSB): Switch between three ignition maps—Standard, Smooth, and Aggressive—directly from the handlebar. This allows you to soften the power as fatigue sets in or sharpen it for an open-throttle section in Spruce Grove.

• HRC Launch Control: This specialized ECU program offers three different modes to help you get the "holeshot" by managing engine RPM and power delivery during the critical start of a race.
