The 2025 Surron Light Bee X in Black represents a major technological leap for the world’s most popular electric dirt bike. Known in the Greater Edmonton Area as the ultimate "crossover" between a downhill mountain bike and a motocross machine, the 2025 model receives a massive power boost and hardware overhaul. For riders in Parkland County and Sherwood Park, these upgrades make it more capable than ever of tackling steep river valley climbs and technical single-track trails.

Massive Powertrain & Battery Upgrades

• New 8kW Peak Power: The 2025 model sees a 33% increase in power, jumping from the previous 6kW to a staggering 8,000 Watts. This provides the "snap" needed for aggressive trail riding and clearing obstacles in Acheson.

• High-Torque PMSM Motor: The updated motor delivers 196.2 ft-lbs of torque (at the wheel), offering instant acceleration that can launch the bike from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

• Next-Gen 60V 40Ah Battery: Utilizing premium Samsung 50S 21700 lithium cells, the 2025 battery offers better thermal management and longevity. It provides a range of up to 75 km (at 40 km/h) and features a new integrated signal/power socket design for improved reliability.

• 2-Hour Fast Charging: Using the included 10A charger, you can go from 20% to 80% charge in just 2 hours, perfect for a quick lunch break between trail sessions in Spruce Grove.

Enhanced Chassis & Handling

• Staggered Wheel Setup: For 2025, the Light Bee X features a competition-style 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel combo. The wider 18-inch rear tire provides a significantly larger contact patch for better grip in "Alberta Gumbo" mud.

• Reinforced KKE Suspension: The 2025 model features a stiffer, gold-coated KKE front fork with 200mm of travel. The Intersect TR multi-link rear shock has been retuned to handle the increased 8kW power output.

• Upgraded Braking System: To manage the higher speeds, Surron has installed new 4-piston titanium-finished calipers that utilize DOT fluid, making them much less prone to brake fade during intense downhill sessions in the river valley.

• Lightweight Mastery: Despite the extra power and larger battery, the bike maintains an incredibly low curb weight of approximately 125 lbs (57 kg), keeping it agile enough for the tightest woods trails in St. Albert.
